I have been to the "fresh spring" many times and would like to take a longer journey to purchase a family atmosphere in an old established restaurant to enjoy good home cooking at reasonable prices. The boss is in spite of old age even at the stove and conjures delicious dishes on the plate and the also elderly chef behind the counter is "Lord of the cold drinks". In addition friendly service staff ... what I want as a guest more. I would pay 2 euros more per court to honor this. Such "institutions" in the village are becoming increasingly rare and should be appreciated by us as guests because soon no one will find more willing to be there for the guest as this is practiced here ...

The good bourgeois cuisine at reasonable prices and a good Palatine Rieslingschorle ... We can only recommend a visit to the fresh spring. The service is friendly and the many regulars speak for this restaurant. Unfortunately, it is only open two days a week.

The source is a must when I am in Mother City. Unfortunately, it is only open 2 days a week. I have known the restaurant for about 48 years now and almost nothing has changed since then.
